Our July trip to folly beach happily turned into an unexpected surf trip for me. The arrival of tropical storm Arthur produced some really nice waves and I was more than ecstatic to be surfing warm water again! Truth be told I certainly did not pack for a surf trip and ended up with more sun burn than tan after 5 straight days of surf. As much as I was super stoked to catch an unexpected swell I plan on being better prepared next year. I've got my eyes set on some travel friendly surf staples and I'll share them all with you soon ;)
